The Extra Extended Editions are alternate versions that have improved upon the original film according to my review. First, I am doing the Ultimate Edition of the underrated Batman V Superman (2016).
While the final cut made people puzzled and bored out of their minds, (I walked out the theater mid-way with my father) the Ultimate Edition completely rectifies that with thirty minutes of extra footage, nice name drops, better character development and Jena Malone as Jenet Klyburn.
The Ultimate Edition felt like watching a very different film. It lasted for three hours compared to the final cut and is R-rated thanks to graphic violence and one use of the F-word. It even made the “cheesy” scenes much more emotional such as the death of Superman.
One of my favorite scenes in the Ultimate Edition (the only version people should watch) where Batman threatens Lex Luthor to go to Arkham Asylum, where he has plenty of friends there.
In short, a “terrible” movie is now a great movie thanks to the Ultimate Edition.
