Betty Ross Revisited

Betty Ross Revisited

Betty Ross is yet another symbolic part in Ang Lee’s Hulk (2003).

Betty Ross (and Jennifer Connelly) had green eyes, which serve as a counterpart for the Hulk. She symbolically represented inner calmness and she is the only lead female in the film besides Edith Banner.

She is both a military brat and a well-educated scientist, which made her give a great shade of gray to Bruce.

Betty gets stressed when Bruce gets stressed because she cared about what Bruce’s life with repressed memories.

Betty getting estranged with her father is not as severe as Bruce.
