Button Mashers: Tak and the Power of Juju

Button Mashers: Tak and the Power of Juju

Nickelodeon, THQ and Avalanche Software came up with the concept for a franchise for video games and a short lived TV cartoon about a boy of the Pupanunu people who knows how to summon all the Juju he can find.

Tak was a greatly original and Meso-American concept that helped break barriers in gaming. Tak (Jason Marsden) has to collect feathers, battle Nerbils and summon Juju to free Lok (Patrick Warburton) from his imprisonment, rescue the Moon Juju (Tina Illman) and defeat Tlaloc (Rob Paulsen).

There are six Juju Tak can assist including Party Juju, who is an undead skeleton who loves parties and Caged Juju (Jeff Bennett), a demonic Juju who is imprisoned for twelve hundred years for an unknown crime.

The game is a visual delight and can be played on the PS2, GameCube and GameBoy Advance.
