Timeless Classics: Aliens

Timeless Classics: Aliens

After James Cameron’s success of The Terminator (1984), he was hired by 20th Century Fox as the writer and director of Aliens (1986), the sequel to Alien (1979), another Timeless Classic.

James Cameron changed the horrific ways of how Ripley (Sigourney Weaver) dealt with the aliens in a science-fiction/action/military film with memorable performances by Bill Paxton and Lance Henriksen.

“It’s game over, man! Game over!”

It also introduced fans to the Queen of the aliens to gruesome and acidic results. It is one of the follow-ups that has heavily improved upon the original film, which Cameron was able to do so with his own work with Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991).

Aliens is worth watching for those who can handle acidic insect-like aliens on the big screen.
