Timeless Classics: Dead Man’s Chest

Timeless Classics: Dead Man’s Chest

The most memorable of the four follow-ups to Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl (2003), Dead Man’s Chest (2006) was able to showcase Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) better while taking the Disney series to hidden depths.

Jack realized that he has a special debt to pay to Davy Jones (Bill Nighy), the captain of the sea-creature infested Flying Dutchman.

The crew of the Flying Dutchman was much more visually pleasing and disgusting at the same time compared to the undead Black Pearl crew because of how the Dutchman melded with marine life for too long and the appearance of the Kraken, which made the film won Best Visual Effects at the Oscars.

This treasured film is worth watching for those who want to take a vacation at the beach.
