Timeless Classics: How The Grinch Stole Christmas (2000)

Since 2000, Ron Howard’s live-action interpretation of Dr. Seuss’ How The Grinch Stole Christmas (2000) had become an instant holiday classic, more so than the 1969 animated special in a similar manner that 1991’s Beauty and the Beast got a 2017 live-action remake that is even more timeless than the animated version.

The Grinch (Jim Carrey) isn’t really a Who but a What who wanted to stop Christmas all because he was bullied at Who-School for having different fur and for not looking like a normal Who from Whoville. In the present, he and his dog Max plan to steal all of the gifts that Santa gives to all the nice Whos including Cindy Lou Who (Taylor Momsen).

Superbly narrated by Anthony Hopkins, the Grinch is perfect to watch with your children for a day near or before Christmas.
