The second and final PlayStation game solely based on Spider-Man, Spider-Man 2: Enter Electro (2001) is more shocking than the first game in certain levels but uses more old than new.
Spider-Man (Rino Romano) has to defeat even more villains including the Shocker (Daran Norris), Hammerhead, Sandman, Lizard and finally, Electro (Dee Bradley Baker) who is after the jewel known as Zeus’ Tear.
It is also the only PlayStation Spider-Man game to take place at the streets of New York, to acclaim.
As in the previous game, it was narrated by Spider-Man co-creator Stan Lee. The game had some X-Men cameos in the tutorials including Beast, Charles Xavier and Rogue.
Spider-Man 2: Enter Electro, hilariously enough is a follow-up where Spider-Man has to stop Electro, which filmgoers have not seen until The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014).
Enter Electro also gave players to make their own Spider-Man with an outfit template and three extra powers.
Enter Electro is worth playing with your kids on the PlayStation.
