Futurama (1999-2013) is one of the few adult cartoons that does not push beyond its boundaries and relies on neat (picture snap) humor about mathematics and geek culture.
It is about a New York pizza delivery boy named Philip J. Fry (Billy West) who supposed to deliver pizza at a cryogenics lab at the night of December 31st, 1999. He accidentally landed on a pod, which made him arrive in the day of December 31st, 2999.
In the future, his met his very distant nephew, Professor Hubert Farnsworth (Billy West), a robot named Bender (John DiMaggio) and an alien cyclops known as Leela (Katey Sagal). Fry and the latter two decided to work for Planet Express with their career chips in their hands to deliver packages to other planets throughout the galaxy including Omicron Persei 8.
After a hundred and twenty four Emmy-winning episodes on Fox and Comedy Central and four direct-to-video films, Futurama has been a national treat for animation fans since 1999.
