God of War III (2010) is a great conclusion to a PlayStation trilogy that began with God of War (2005) and God of War II (2007) to more violent and more god-like results. It is also the only game of the trilogy to be on the PlayStation 3 and the PlayStation 4.
Kratos (T.C. Carson) is not a friend to the titans anymore. However, he still wanted to defeat all of the Olympian gods, beginning with Poseidon (Gideon Emery) and ending with Zeus (Corey Burton).
Kratos can use the head of Helios to bring in light to dark areas like a lantern and the Blades of Athena to defeat enemies.
Even though Linda Hunt narrated the video game, she did not voice the titan Gaia this time.
The additional voices of the game were provided by Clancy Brown, Elijah Wood, Malcom McDowell, Rip Torn and Kevin Sorbo. Ironically enough, Kevin Sorbo voiced Hercules in the game.
God of War III is an excellent conclusion to an ultra-violent video game series about Greek mythology but it did not end with it all because of its innovation.
