A 2002 film adaptation of the 1998 book of the same name, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (2002) brings us a look at Harry Potter’s second year at Hogwarts.
Harry (Daniel Radcliffe) did not want to go back to school but when a creature named Dobby told him to come back, Harry reluctantly decided to and noticed that there was blood written in the hallway of the school. With the help of his friends Hermione (Emma Watson) and Ron (Rupert Grint), they will uncover the Chamber of Secrets and what makes it so haunting.
The film is the second and last Harry Potter film to have Richard Harris portray Albus Dumbledore, shortly before his death in October 2002. He was replaced by Michael Gambon for the rest of the films.
The Chamber of Secrets is no secret to the history of film and is a great continuation of where the iconic beginning left off.
