Why Star Wars Fans Should Be Prequel Positive: Revenge of the Sith

Revenge of the Sith (2005) is obviously the easiest to defend because of all the glowingly positive reviews but that is not the case for certain Star Wars fans.

  1. Return Of The Wookiees: Tons of Star Wars fans love Chewbacca and we get to see his family at their home planet Kashyyyk defeat battle droids.
  2. A Juxtaposition To Return Of The Jedi: While Return of the Jedi (1980) showed Anakin Skywalker redeem himself to a peaceful end, Revenge of the Sith went on to explain his suffering as he became Darth Vader to burning results.
  3. Ewan McGregor As Obi-Wan Kenobi: Ewan McGregor was a perfect choice for a young Obi-Wan since 1999 and have made various fans and could have made Alec Guinness smile.
  4. Order 66: Star Wars had never been that intense before the event was shown. Many Jedi were betrayed and killed by the Clone Troopers in a way that made people think of the Holocaust.
  5. Ultimately Connects With The Original Trilogy: Like Rogue One (2016) after it, the film directly connects with Episodes IV-VI to maximum effort with enough connections. The very end showed the Death Star in construction with Tarkin (Wayne Pygram) watching.
  6. First Galactic Empire: Ian McDiarmid’s performance as Sheev Palpatine/Darth Sidious made us creeped out with his speech to the Senate in a rousing and loud manner that resembled what tyrants said.
  7. The Tragedy of Darth Plagueis: Palpatine’s explanation of how he destroyed his master is one of the primary reasons how Anakin became Darth Vader.
  8. General Grievous: After his dark appearance in Clone Wars (2003-2005), General Grievous (Matthew Wood) is ready with four arms to hold four lightsabers at a time.
  9. The Birth of Luke And Leia: It is a bit obvious but it is true considering that they serve as key characters of the Star Wars franchise since 1977.
  10. The Suit: Anakin Skywalker gets his first words as Darth Vader (James Earl Jones) after he was heavily burnt from the lava of Mustafar.

Revenge of the Sith is seen as the strongest of I-III of the Star Wars films and these reasons are great proof for it.
